Hilltop Pivot

The question of when to go down to the coast again, back into glorious seascapes but incompetent and sometimes very nasty people, pivots on the desire to save the car engine from having to come back up.

The car handles itvokay and it’s probably mostly a problem in my head, but the concern fits into a general daily fear of car wear and tear and failure.

Waldrens Swamp can be really stressful, too. It’s not until 2AM that the place can be considered settled in occupants. And in come the overbearing and very ugly motorhomes and overgrown deformed utes and caravans. Generators threatening within each.

Then the same old routine.

And same old vans and cars with people who spend all day in them.

From there too it’s 40 minutes north or south to escape. Neither spot is attractive or, upon arrival, stayable for certain.

But when I get to the coast it’s not as bad as the thought. Certainly it’s better than the crippling thought of going back to a cabin under the wrongful and harmful, pig ignorant filthy arrogant false authority of daddy’s boy.

So the freedom from that iscwhat ai have to remember.

I’ll see how I feel as the morning moves along. I might stay another night here. Only me here and it’s fabulous.

9.21 AM

Really in two minds about going. Currently boiling the kettle because the fas bottle lost its knob, and it gives me time to percolate. My eyes are watery and no good for driving, need a shower which I’m hoping to do.

I feel quite shithouse. Flu, lonely and weak, vulnerable, tired, lost. Once I decide I’ll be okay, if I can get my eyes to come good.

Two cars parked with walkers in the bush which for a shower I do not want, at all.

9 42 AM

Started the car to warm the engine. Smoke came out. I’m worried sick.

10.17 AM

Rushed out a shower without direct interruption, then rushed the pack up, sugar plunging per usual to massively and quickly make everything worse, and got to Bungendore extremely nervous and anxious. I don’t know why.

Going tobwalk here a bit and check the oil later here, before anything else. Horrible.

10 39 AM

Didn’t walk. Chilly wind a bit but I’m very tired, fluey, and feel wrong and weird. I’ll push on to Braidwood.

Oil is good, I think.

12.26 PM

Arrived at Batemans Bay. Overcast. I don’t feel good, or good about this. Lunch first then check mail for bad news. Could be gines for orange lights in Canberra.

2.51 PM

Been here nearly an hour, Waldrens, but Telstra is down and lost last update. PO Box only had an expected bank letter, then to BCF and the champion gave me a new gas bottle.

Then to Waldrens and for now just me.bVery tired, fluey, and unwell. No idea this is high;
