Awake at 2.50 AM. Now at Kings Park. Good sleep but that’s all I got. Not overly cold. Shot this photo on night setting, before I left the concrete paving carpark.

That’s the recorded American message from the most unnatural and jarring toileting ‘amenity’ EVER made.
It is appalling. Civic idiot decision.

Arrived Brooks Hill and got my spot!
Shower at Queanbeyan was terrific, especially with a cold wind hooting around.
Quick drive out to Mugga Mugga homestead but typically signposted badly: was closed.
Then to Geoscience again but inside this time.
Touch the moon? I did today.
A piece of it, anyway, as invited. Brought back by Apollo 16 astronauts in 1972.
Spent an hour inside and piled up some pages to read on their website.

Still have the flu, or a cold. Not well. Wish I had a GP who gives a fuck.

A van and trailer reversed into the space at the toilets, after dark. Knew what tgey were doing, were quiet and efficient.
A noisy ute roared in, in front of me, I think swapped drivers and left.
The highway is busier now than before dark. Looked like it would be quiet but I now expect there’ll be disruptions. There could have been, Friday night, anywhere I camped.
