Been a while since a Waldrens sunrise made the page. This one (seconds ago) through a new fly/mosquito screen which is fabulous.

    Good sleep. No disturbances.

    5 35 PM

Waldrens. Dinner cooked. Long morning getting water then drying everything out that got wet in my negligent overflow. Shower by the river sth side. The sensor came off so fitted a new one. Gap in the data.

Can’t remember much otherwise. An hour on the computer finally got the updates due to repair install. Groceries. A walk.

Not much of a day, no achievement.

A couple of vehicles stopped by so far.

Still don’t know where I’m going next or what I’m doing.

Canberra, probably. Stop Telstra by paying out the netgear, but don’t want to lose connection. Do it instore and JBHiFi nearby.

Fly screen. Should be an enormous help, fresh air right near my face, and flowing through, without mosquitoes.
Only took a year to think of it.

Cost me ten bucks. I had leftover 3M magnetic tape from the side door/window which is extremely effective.

Ten minutes. Unbelievable. Summer is on the way out as well. Talk about unthinking. Have to suffer.

Possible to steal it, though. It was meant also to stick inside but I wasn’t thinking when I laid it out around the windows. Bigger problem though is I’ll drive away with it on. Have to get a routine.

Next thing: drip catchers. Exactly what I was looking for, on special in bins out the front of Bunnings. These deflect drips from the rail due to roof rack legs, and hang on by leverage and gravity. Fantastic. Be good to see them in action. Should be able to have two open windows in drizzle or drop rain.

So the car is much better set up now. Using space under the bed. Nicer inside. A bit lighter again.

It’s now 5.15 PM and dinner is nearly cooked, a bit late today due to another low glucose event and now high. At Waldrens hoping the pests don’t turn up.

It would be good to try Riverside but I don’t want to risk retribution and damage because I didn’t fulfil the stupid angry prick’s request.

Going to kick back now and work out where I’m going this week.

Unbelievably tired. Excellent sleep, a Jucy van arrived during the night and I never heard them, waking at 3.15AM. Lovely and chilly. Terrific with coffee and NYT.

Shower at the river spot, sth side. Then dropped Luke’s Invasion into storage – even a book is overcrowding – then to Batemans Bay and Bunnings for containers for rearranging.

So I removed the rain flap I made and haven’t used (fabulous thing though) and stuffed a pathway container into two underbed containers. Much neater.

I have to work out a way to make the table and chair easy to grab, and hassle-free stored.

Strange how I take a long time to actually see what’s going on, what’s being used and what’s not. So much is for emergencies but in the way and a hassle Better now.

Had a blood test at Moruya.

Currently at Riverside Park, which is full of obnoxious holiday makers in motorhomes and buses and caravans. Horrible but tge shade from sun is welcome as is the grass instead of always gravel or bitumen.

Worried about the Pests of Waldrens Swamp coming down. Be a gift if they dont. I’m not waiting around in the rest area just for them to arrive and me move out away from them.

    Might check later after dinner.

I didn’t want to be caught in Moruya tonight but being dangerously tired, making mistakes, I was unable to decide on what else to do.

    7.25 PM

Could fluke this. It’s quiet. Mo loud music like before and hopefully doesn’t happen. Everyone well behaved. And the big deal is: mo highway noise.

If this keeps up I might get a good sleep.

    7.45 PM

Couldn’t last. A motorbike tore through the area disturbing everyone, extremely noisy. Hurling past people in vehicles relaxing and behaving themselves. Major muffler noise probably on purpose. A hoon prick.

So he stops next to my car and yells through his helmet. “Any chance you can move your car forward a bit mate ” he points to where the car is, “I ride through here.”

As if he can’t go around me!!!

“Everyone is trying to relax mate.”

“It’s daytime (actually getting dark). Can you move your car forward?”

    “No mate”

“Are you going to he a smart arse are ya?”

    Seriously maladapted.

He asked cranky again and I couldn’t believe it. “,Tough shit mate”

“Yeah tough shit” he accused me and rode straight over to the aboriginal camp, no doubt about me. He had dark skin. He then rode away and is gone.

So what happens now? Blackfellas cone and attack at night?

I mean, fuck. Have a look at all the space he had. And he wanted me to move my car, and got nasty cranky aggressive because I wouldn’t.

    8.10 PM

Out of bed, packed up and leaving. I don’t want to. It’s lovely here.

    8.37 PM

At Waldrens Swamp. The nasty stupid little prick has ruined a quiet rest for me. He didn’t stop anywhere else. Who the fuck is he to ask people to move their cars? Have a look at the space he had. It’s like I’m cursed. Took these photos before I left. Too dangerous for me to stay – the only one out of 20 or 30 vehicles.

Now I just need The Pests to turn up. It’s the Friday Threat all over again.

I need a good day tomorrow and an undisturbed sleep. About 5 vehicles here. A talker nearby. Very noisy highway. Prick.

  • Linkages Done

    Finally.

Been petrified of doing this due to uncertainty with mechanics and what I’ve been told.

So I woke at 4AM and a coffee and NYT. To Batemans Bay and cleaned out the car. Aquatic centre for a rude attendant and a shower. McDonald’s to make it for 8AM at the tyre/mechanic.

Then walked in the rain and cold and wind and tried not to be negative. Had a very bad low glucose issue that took a lot of input and time to start going up. Contemplated an ambulance as I’m supposed to.

Then picked ip the car, typically unhelpful about what they did and the condition of the car, paid and drove away with sweet feeling gears.

4.45PM writing at Waldren’s and no one here, but it happens at 10PM and later, right.

Still trying to get Windows updates. Hours and hours over days, failing every time.

    Doing a repair version reinstall.

Really pleased I can drive and I no longer have to fear linkages.
