Trying to get in. Home-made insect screen held to the van door with magnetic tape. Saved fifty bucks and a few mosquito bites, probably. This guy doesn’t bite though.

Stunning morning that began all alone (quite okay) in a rest area. Thence the river, with mist. Being in the van compels me to share in the external world more intimately, more often – which is just what I want.
