Started at Lake Ginnindera which was an undisturbed sleep but for sprinklers, and breakfast in situ.
Then to Weston Park for a shower but it took until after 11AM to get a window: people everywhere.
Lovely day, lovely foliage and water. So I walked a little, got that perspective, and shot photos from that view.
Very tired.
It’s 3.50 PM now and I’ll start cooking, hoping to overnight on the cobbles near the rowing buildings. However, I just heard doif doof which might be a function on the other side of the lake and like last time send me hurrying away.

4.24 PM
Just searched and discovered the arsehole venue The Jetty is open today and tonight Good Friday. I was banking on the fuckwit thing being closed.
So that’s the peace and charm of the lake completely fucked, then. All of it. One venue ruining the national capital’s central amenity and attraction. One selfish arsehole venue.
I’m currently cooking, so I have to put up with the boof boof nonstop until it’s cooked and I can turn the burner off and then I’m out of here.
I’ll try Mawson. Away from this disturbing noise pollution.
The arsehole of a place is open all weekend. Canberra’s lake at night destroyed.
I hope it gets shut down and moved far, far away.
7.12PM
Getting dark, I’ve eaten and with a cold wind started and music stopped I’m shutting down for the night. It’s pretty bold and I might get a ranger problem. 200m away though a homeless bloke is living in his ute in front of everyone including police who stop adjacent for the toilets. So it’d be rough for me to get a fine.
Fabulous the boof boof stopped. Hoons probably later tonight but it’s safe from accidents here.
Anyway, another spot getting a shot, as I’ve wanted to do for a while.
Chilly night by the looks.
