Sitting in Moruya wondering wtf.

Good sleep at Waldrens, shower by the river sth side.

To do what?

Probably going towards Canberra and later maybe Tumut. Got the homeless “feeling lost” blues. Unpleasant.

Have to instead realise I’m fortunate to go and do this. But for who for what?

…morning Turner colours didn’t send/arrive earlier.

12.44 PM

Walked the Bay street to burn up time until lunch- couldn’t have it travelling- and looked at new fridges and batteries. Then lunch.

Hot day.

Leaving this spot now and going up the Clyde Mountain. Clueless. Here goes.

2.37 PM

After stopping at Braidwood, and legs needing to move, came out to the Shoalhaven campground. A nice ten or fifteen minutes and then A FUCKING GENERATOR.

The place has been mowed but it looks like permanents and a major noise problem every day.

This place wouldn’t know respect.

The generator noise completely ruins the lovely valley and river surrounds. I’ll see what happens but in 20 minutes if it’s still bad I’ll go to Bungendore. Might go sooner.

Arseholes. I’m out of here.

3.35 PM

At Brooks Hill Bungendore. Very dry across the tablelands-I thought of the cool green grass and cold shade trees of Bega-and hot and unpleasant, if not foreboding.

Would have enjoyed very much a chilly night at Braidwood after the special sunsets up the Shoalhaven Valley. But those selfish pricks-I’m sure it’s the same ones still there-keep the generator going earliest stop after 9.30PM. Utterly untenable.

I’m pleased I got this familiar spot. How it is: drive around until you stop for the night, hoping.

Evening at Brooks

7 PM

Had a handtowel shower. Feeling good about making it up the hill. Not sure about anything else.

I’m the only one here. The old homeless guy isn’t here and it might be sad. I’m amazed he went this long. I recall him first arriving, guessing about 2 years ago. Some woman problems as he yelled fucking bitch and drank.

Not since then and kept to himself, except when his car didn’t start and asked for help.

He was a fixture and if I got here first O gave him my preferred spot because he liked it. He never said anything but I think he appreciated it.

Sometimes he comes a bit later, but usually he’s here by 4.30PM.

Noisy highway.
