    Kids’ sky. Riverside Park.

And a day later, looking upstream.

    Quintessentially Aussie, and ancient.

Sitting here, having a coffee. Trying to comprehend the beauty, in its fullness – an impossible venture  – and the reason for its beauty.

Peaceful (from human noise) with North Head Drive closed off for roadworks.

    It is all quite unbelievable.

    Caught between the trunks. Pelican.

    Water’s edge. Alligator.

    Gorgeous, after lots of rain.

Woke to thick fog, then off to Moruya then to upper spot on the river, shower, and finally fix the dripping appearing again lately.

  • Cream For Itchy Feet

Woke to rain, scooted to Moruya for breakfast, decided I couldn’t shower there even if it did clear up, grounds too wet.

Thence Batemans Bay to a shower that makes you colder for having it. Middle of winter, the Aquatic Centre can’t organise a warm shower let alone a hot one.

Some photos and a change of scenery after waiting it out lately in Moruya.

The bloke who spends all day every day in his car, in the central spot in the rest area so it’s unpleasant to go to the bin or the covered table, repels me from this place. I’m sleeping away, in the truck section. But he creates a vibe too heavy and dark, and destroys the amenity for everyone else, that I have to get away. It’s wrong. He could spend his entire life in his car anywhere, but he couldn’t ruin something special, useful and lovely more if he tried.

I’ll think seriously about heading off north or south. Bungendore and Canberra are too cold for the windscreen – the lower crack is growing. And I really should stay here where I know who to go to if the can screams out. I don’t feel good about going elsewhere with the car like this.

But I’m not going to keep living in this prick’s bad energy either.

Maybe I’ll decide tomorrow when it stops raining, apparently.
