Freedom teasing from over the fence, days still spent packing and carting things into storage. Hopefully the final day tomorrow. Then a trip to the tip. Then the chains come off.
Interrupted by Easter, however.
So looking for release by Wednesday of next week.
Looks like someone’s left hand reaching up. Fingers manifesting the spirit of a tree and turning into branches.

First homeless morning in over 30 years.
For about 30 years.
Feels very fine.
The night started badly. From 3PM a bloke in a caravan booted up a generator, people parked nearby.
At 9PM with my head thumping I asked how long it would be going. All through the night?
For a while yet, until the wife falls asleep, he said.
So I moved the van to another spot.
Then rain, windows shuttered.
All the while a terrible constant itch from a few days of hives brought on by leaving the unrentable rental.
But it’s all worth it.
That’s the van just visible in the cracker morning, sun trying to weave through.
