Bush awakening. (But early: 3.30AM).Neighbours proved wonderful – dead quiet. Very windy during the night. A few drops of rain, too.
Lovely now.
When I don’t have time to properly format a post. Could involve any topic.
In and around a place I’d love to live in.
Pulled into a mooring area on the river and recognised a boat shape. Got out and had a look. It’s the boat from my Coffs studio (one of them) neighbours. She’s a bit worse for wear these days. Quite nostalgic.
The shots of parking spaces are from the lake, too steep to stay.
Arrived here 20 minutes ago. Though checked it out earlier on the way to Narooma. Had a quick walk, looked at the loos, and boiled a coffee.
Only one van earlier, now three plus me – and as I type a motorhome pulls right in next to me. Fuck it.
Silly I thought I’d have it empty.
I checked out the lake south of Narooma at which I’d stayed three nights before moving into nightmare Bodalla, and it’s stupidly steep.
So I’m back here. I’ll be able to shower on the spot. But noise from the motorhome and caravans could be a problem, especially generators. Worst things ever, along with music. Mosquitoes definitely going to be a thing.
Anyway, the bush is magnificent, and we’ll just have to see how the night goes.
