Arrived at the hospital ten minutes ago, after a shower in Queanbeyan and before that leaving Bungendore rest area prior to sun up. Have set up the van and about to relish a coffee.

This early, no worries about a critical parking spot, which was the idea. Achieved!

Walked to Philip shops mostly for exercise, then in to the clinic after lunch.

Injection into the left eye to subdue further bleeding then just as quickly out the door.

Nect appointment unusually two months away due to doctor being away.

No shower now for three days lest it jeopardise the eye.

Very cold morning. I thought those freezing pleasures were over. Heat, debilitating, instead. But not yet up here.

Staggered up towards the lookout above Queanbeyan but found it’s a 3km walk, something I’ll do later.

Tomorrow my eye gets examined and whatever bad news about a shouldn’t-happen bleed will be told to me. Horrible, reality.

At the same time I’ll get treatment, for which I’m thoroughly grateful.

Nervous, though.

Headed in before sunrise, breakfast near the river (hidden) showered and began the search for bushings or the whole linkages package. And think I’ve found them. Terrific guy, old school, has me sorted. Just have to check with the mechanic. Massive load of stress relieved already.

Eye a little better again, today.

I’ve no words to capture the experience adequately.
