    This is real. A few minutes either side of 7.15AM.

    Phone handheld. Could get to it, seems like.

    Some interesting shots. Firstly the camera has caught the muddy water’s edge, where reflected blue sky settles in visual pools or both colours are twisted and swirled when lapping at the boundary. Also the blue jerking with muddy tan in close up, after wider framing for context.

    Upstream at that beautiful spot, had to document the water after the storm and rain.

    It looked and felt spectacular, there today. Absolute gift, treasured.

    Earlier. A ritual has developed. Rip into a coffee in the dark, very early (around 4AM). An outright pleasure. While reading and commenting at The New York Times. With darkness barely nudged aside so I can see sufficiently to walk around the car and not hit it, pack up. Warming the engine all the while. Drive to Moruya. And get blown away along the valley flat, and then again at the river:
