I love it. Every time, on sight.

Even though it’s three or four below zero from about midnight on, I’m staying another night. It’s too good.

    It is bitey cold.

When it’s summer, to remind me that up here on the tablelands this happens:

It’s happened on the coast, but up its every winter’s day pretty much. And the above is late: about 9AM.

Getting on to 9AM and it’s still foggy and very cold in Canberra. No view out the windows yet, the carpark a blancmange of freshly arrived workers and white ice shapes of cars that have come in for the late night/early morning shift.

New prescription drops after being warmed have gone into the left eye, soon hopefully to end its persisting troubles. It’s a worry.

Building mist, tombstones separated by time, and valley mist already clearing.

In Bungendore tonight. This winter eye-feast up on the freezing tablelands is too good.

    Arrived.

Reflected high pitched roofs reflected in windows: setting sun through willow.
