But because the creep is in Moruya in his car, I am having a lovely night vibe-wise in the rest area. If I have it free of his effect again I’ll stay tomorrow as well, but it’s unlikely. In which case I need to get away, so I’ll probably go to bodalla state forest. We’ll see.

I showered today in the rest area, the second time. Really good.

    Then explored a bit near the boat ramp on the river,south side, half way down;

  • Dust Away

Took minutes and it feels like I’ve just started the adventure. Went to Moruya river sth side fish tables at Riverside Park and scrubbed quickly the outside, getting wd40 off, and grime, then did the inside for possibly the second time ever.

It’s a shitty hot mongrel wind day. I can’t wait for Summer to be over and we’re not even in it yet.

Windfinder isn’t wind accurate. Hotter than this too, I’m sure. Certainly is in the van.

Breakfast at the quarry, shower upstream. Had it to myself but within an hour maybe ten cars turned up.

Only other thing of note was an old guy in a home made jalopy bicycle thing, four wheels or at least two at the back, like an ice cream vending station, which he was pedalling no doubt on a very long solo trip. Had a canopy on it like on a barge. Amazing. I wanted to chat this morning but he had packed his tent and ai saw him pedalling the contraption away. Swirling orange safety light on top. It took up the road width of a car and was a lot of size and weight to get around. Good luck to him, a true explorer and eccentric.

    UPDATE 4.07PM

An arrival knock knocked and asked if I knew my lights are on. Running the car for half an hour now. Had to do this once before.

Although he crawls out at opportune moments revealing that he looks out through dark tinted windows, the creep wouldn’t help like that. Some kids askec around for water, vin heat, the other day, and he of course wouldn’t help them either. (I did.)

Could be a busy night in the rest area, hopefully there’s no generator or arseholes running their car engine to charge a battery!

Mist shifting off the river and spilling onto land. Absolutely spectacular.

Hard to believe these photos aren’t paintings. Some of the best I’ve fluked.

…Hot windy day, of catch up chores. Updated a computer, letter to Australia Post regarding missing mail and redirection concerns, and strengthened the bedhead before it gets to be an impossibly awkward task.

Salute to these old buddies, part of a rubbish input after lots of faithful service:

    After the creep has left.

I know it’s unbecoming, but to be around this bloke and see his behaviour when on the rare occasions he gets out of the car: smug, like a hero, entirely self-interested, as though accomplishing great things, a great achiever with disdain for others because he’s better…it’s sickening. There’s a palpable change in energy when he’s not here.

So it’s time I see for me to have a break from the effect.

Woke this morning about 2.30AM and been awake since. One of those ones. Needed gas so into the bay at predawn light. Wind had already hit. Gale warning.

Nasty in the van, trying to have breakfast in the noisy buffeting. Shower then.

Then got some loose ends attended to. Mail redirection being looked at because bank statements confirmed by the bank as on paper posted weren’t redirected and I didn’t get any.

Changed address with the bank to the po box.

Ordered and paid for the “main rod” for rear linkages with Queanbeyan Toyota. Then ordered, but was told to pay when I pick them up, the other parts of the linkages. So that’s finally underway

Then gas, Galvumet at Broulee, and to the rest area.

Good to get done. Worried about abuse by the nasty daddy’s boy at the old address, if my postage went there. It likely did.

    Colour to end the day.

    UPDATE 7.45PM

Two vans have arrived and parked unsuspectingly in the spaces next to the creep. That’s five people he’s going to wake early tomorrow morning. Things like that about his attitude and selfish choices really upset me.

Five people thinking they’ll get a good night’s sleep.

Photo taken early the next morning of the creep’s victims this time, after he’d warmed his (quite noisy) car engine in situ, guaranteed to wake, and left. Two couples and a child.

The spot he’s moved into is the one on the left.

He’ll be back before 9AM to spend all day in the car and spoil the rest area today, as with every other day. People have to walk past him, his door ajar, to go to the bins or try to swallow lunch or a snack with him in the car right there.

I saw someone let out the dog for a walk, who had to collect the dog from the car door.
