A day to hold back on the petrol cost and get the blood moving with a good, brisk walk. About an hour.

After a cold shower in close, full public view at Huskisson; scratch that as an idea. Found an alternative – on the walk.

    Still pissing hell.

After over four hours wait in the emergency department at Nowra hospital I scored a high energy doctor around my age or younger who genuinely knew what he was doing. But how would I know! Anyway, he checked a heap of stuff: I’m running a temperature, blood test revealed high sugar worrying him, and the infection needed strong antibiotics immediately.

Looking forward to getting some strength and pain free pissing, I shouted myself a Dominos pizza. Supreme for $16 incl Sunday surcharge. Cheaper than my vegy meal with protein. I was getting shaky and had no time to cook. Scoffed it heading south to my spot.

Today, found more water at Sanctuary Point, Culburra in and Greenwell point, a shower east of hyams but can’t shampoo.

Checked Erowal Bay and those east of it, Bream Bay etc.

Then onto the highway to head east again, Forest Rd out towards Perpendicular Point,  but stopped at the military base which had it closed off. Open weekends only. Got a heap of printed matter. Incredible visual, that place, but after 25ks in couldn’t see it.

Then up to Culburra. Years ago a rugby team-mate bragged about Culburra and shook his head at my description of Rosedale. Lowy. I didn’t know how it could compare. Anyway, 45 years later, today, I saw Culburra and can declare the guy an idiot.

Then onto Greenwell Point, which reminded me a little of both Redcliffe and Bribie Island at once.

Then back to use tank water heated up for a shower at the spot and write this.

As expected, petrol costs are going to make homelessness more expensive than renting. I’ll have to get it sorted.

    Photos are mixed, from today.
