Through the one and only flyscreen after a night of at times buffeting wind and rain.

Spectacular morning.

4 PM

Nearly set up for a shower but the wind hurtled in quickly and more was forecast, so into Queanbeyan.

But earlier with breakfast oats on the cooker I caught a glimpse of the old permanent bloke’s filthy flannelette shirt, then watched as he looked through the front window close up, came around to the side window, same, then his dirty face no more than 18 inches from mine stared through the sliding door window, his face up to the glass.

Fuck that.

He stared at the oats, then to me, “any chance I can get a jump start mate?”

I went up with the jump start kit, and got it going.

Now I’m concerned he’ll stare through the windows again, steal something (it was that kind of casing) and expects me to be his free nrma. I’ll have to verbally sort him out if so, which I’m not looking forward to.

At a loss all day with what to do and hating myself for it.

Extreme winds all day, and seems every day for a week. Very affecting and disconcerting.

So I walked all around Queanbeyan township, at least getting exercise in a wasted life.

Insane winds.
