Squeezed in before the rain. Kicked off at the beach and jetty near the roundabout that I take to go out to the hospital, and skirted right beside the water to the first bridge, to the second, and a little way after that I had to turn around as it was sprinkling. Got a bit drizzley, but it was dry back at the van for lunch and to hitch up the bike and throw a cover over it for a couple of days.
So it was very overcast and bleak, chilly, windy, yet fully enjoyable. Past the library, high court, old parliament house, and other famous, significant buildings on that side of the water.
Trees still had some leaves, and not being tall made the ride snug in under them. Bikes, runners, walkers and prams everywhere – just fabulous.
